Radiant heat only. This tubing is not for potable or drinking water.
Oxygen barrier PEX-B tubing, three quarter inch, 500 foot red coil. The EVOH barrier layer keeps oxygen from working through the pipe wall, which is what protects the boiler, pump, and any other iron or steel components in a closed loop system from corroding out. That barrier is also why this pipe is not for potable water.
Dimensions are 0.86 inch outside, 0.66 inch inside, with a 0.1 inch wall. Minimum bend radius is 7 inches, the industry standard for three quarter inch pipe.
Rated from 45 below zero to 230 degrees Fahrenheit. Pressure ratings are 188 to 217 psi at 68 degrees, and 101 to 108 psi at 203 degrees.
Works with crimp, clamp, press, and compression fittings. Suited to radiant floor heat, solar water heating loops, and snow and ice melt systems, including structural and non-structural slabs and staple-up between joists.
Meets ASTM F876, ASTM F877, ASTM F2023, and CSA B137.5. Certified to ANSI slash NSF 14, NSF 61, and NSF-Pw for radiant heating. UPC listed by IAPMO. SDR-9 dimensional standard, and meets DIN 4726 for oxygen barrier.
