30 Inch Green and White Bathroom Vanity with Sink Combo, Soft-Close Door and Three Drawers, Solid Wood Frame

A 30″ bathroom vanity and sink combination with one soft-close door and three drawers, built on a solid wood frame with MDF panels.

The drawers handle the small items and the cabinet takes the bulk, so everything stays off the counter and out of the damp. Fronts are finished with a water-repellent paint.

Assembled dimensions are 30″ X 18″ X 34″, length X width X height. Weight is about 98 lbs. Available in green and white.

Installation

This is a two-person job. Plan on half a day. You will want a stud finder, a level, a drill, shims, a tape measure, a bucket and caulk. Have the faucet and drain assembly on hand before you start, because the easiest time to install them is before the vanity goes against the wall.

1. Close the shutoff valves, disconnect the supply lines and the P-trap, and pull the old vanity out. Have the bucket ready for what is left in the trap.
2. Check the wall and floor. Find the studs and mark them. Set a level on the floor where the vanity will sit and note any low spots you will need to shim.
3. Dry fit the vanity in place before anything else. Make sure the supply stubs and the drain clear the back panel. If they do not, mark and cut the back panel now while you can still move the cabinet freely.
4. With the vanity out again, install the faucet and the drain assembly into the top. Doing this on the floor beats lying inside the cabinet later.
5. Slide the vanity into position. Level it front to back and side to side, shimming under the base as needed. Check the top with the level, not the floor.
6. Anchor the cabinet to the studs through the back rail with screws long enough to bite at least an inch and a half into framing.
7. Connect the P-trap to the drain tailpiece, then the supply lines to the faucet inlets. Hot on the left, cold on the right. Hand-tighten, then a quarter turn with a wrench.
8. Open the shutoffs slowly. Fill the bowl and let it drain while you watch every joint underneath for weeping.
9. Run a bead of caulk where the top meets the wall. Trim the shims flush and set the trim or toe kick if your unit has one.

Care

Wipe spills off the fronts rather than letting them sit. Water-repellent paint resists splashes, not standing water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or anything with bleach on the finish. Wipe out the drawers a couple of times a year and check the soft-close hinge for buildup.

Faucet, drain assembly and P-trap are not included.
