Adjustable Raised Toilet Seat with Handles, 350 lb Capacity
An adjustable raised toilet seat with handles, adjustable in both height and width. Height sets at 5 levels from 18″ to 22″, width at 6 levels from 22″ to 25″, so it fits most toilets and a range of body sizes. Rated to 350 pounds.
Aluminum alloy frame, which will not rust in a damp bathroom. Four buckles at the bottom lock it to the bowl, and four anti-slip foot pads keep it from sliding.
The seat cushion is removable grey PVC, waterproof and easy to wipe down. The side handles have foam padding.
Also works as a bedside commode frame or a shower chair. Includes a paper holder and a storage bag for keeping small items within reach.
Setup
- Measure first. Floor to the top of your bowl rim, and across the widest part of the bowl. The frame covers 18″ to 22″ in height and 22″ to 25″ in width.
- Set the width. Release the width adjustment and spread the frame until it clears both sides of the bowl with a little room to spare, then lock it.
- Set the leg height. Press the spring button on a leg, slide it to the hole you want, and let the button pop all the way through. Do all four legs to the same setting. Count the holes rather than eyeballing it, because one leg off by a notch is what makes the whole frame rock.
- Set it over the toilet. Center the seat opening over the bowl, front to back and side to side, and put the frame down flat so all four foot pads touch the floor.
- Lock the four buckles to the bowl so the frame cannot walk out of position.
- Check every spring button. Each one should be poking fully through its hole. A button that is only partly engaged will collapse under load.
- Test it empty first. Press down hard on each handle in turn, then on the front of the seat. Nothing should rock, shift or drop. If a corner lifts, recheck that leg's setting and the floor under the pads.
- Recheck the buttons, buckles and foot pads once a week, and any time the frame gets moved for cleaning.
Safe Use and Care
- Maximum user weight is 350 pounds.
- Lower yourself and rise with your hands on the handles, straight down and straight up. Do not lean out over one handle, which tips the frame.
- Never stand on the seat or use the frame as a step stool.
- Take the cushion off to clean and wipe the frame with mild soap and water. Skip abrasive pads and scouring powder.
- Dry the legs after use in a shower. Water sitting inside the tubes works against the adjustment holes over time.
- Stop using it and replace it if a spring button no longer locks firmly, a foot pad is missing, or the frame is bent.
