Cordless PEX-A Tube Expander, 20V, 1/2 to 1 Inch Heads with Two Batteries and Case

A cordless expander for PEX-A tubing, with expansion heads for half inch, three quarter inch, and one inch pipe. Brushless motor, 20 volt.

The head auto-rotates a full turn as it expands, so the pipe opens evenly all the way around instead of stretching flat on one side. That is what keeps an expansion joint from weeping later. A built-in LED lights the work, which earns its keep under a sink or in a crawlspace.

Two 2 amp-hour lithium batteries are included, one already in the tool, along with a fast charger and a carrying case. Trigger operation and a slim body let you work in tight bays.

Add lubricating oil before first use. Running it dry will wear the head.

For PEX-A expansion connections in water supply, radiant floor heating, radiator loops, and water heater work. Note that this is for PEX-A only — PEX-B does not have the shape memory that expansion fittings rely on.
