A frost-proof yard hydrant with a 48″ bury depth, built for northern ground where the frost line runs deep. The shutoff valve sits four feet down, well below where the ground freezes.
A bypass valve drains the residual water out the bottom hole every time you close the handle, so nothing sits in the standpipe to freeze and split it.
Cast iron handle, galvanized steel pipe, brass connectors. No-lead materials meeting NSF/ANSI 372.
The lever handle lifts for flow control, from a gentle garden spray up to full open for washing a truck or filling a trough.
Ships with two O-rings and an installation manual.
