Handheld Bidet Sprayer Set

A handheld bidet sprayer set built from copper, with a high-pressure spray head for personal cleaning. Mounts beside the toilet and connects to the existing supply.

The copper body holds up better than the plastic sprayers that crack at the trigger after a year or two. Weighs about 1.9 pounds.

Available with round or square sleeves in chrome, brushed titanium, matte black, metal gray, white, brushed gold, and rose gold, with either a coiled or braided hose.

Installation

A straightforward job that takes about twenty minutes. You will need an adjustable wrench, a towel, and a small bucket.

1. Close the shutoff valve behind the toilet, then flush and hold the handle down to empty the tank. Sponge out whatever water is left.
2. Put the towel and bucket under the fill valve. Unscrew the supply line where it meets the bottom of the tank. A little water will come out.
3. Thread the T-adapter onto the fill valve shank where the supply line just came off. Hand-tight is enough, these use a rubber washer and overtightening cracks the plastic.
4. Reconnect the toilet supply line to the bottom of the T-adapter and hand-tighten.
5. Screw the sprayer hose onto the side outlet of the T-adapter. Check the rubber washer is seated in the hose nut before you tighten.
6. Connect the other end of the hose to the sprayer. Mount the holster on the wall or hang it on the tank rim, whichever your set came with.
7. Open the shutoff valve slowly and let the tank fill. Check every connection for weeping before you walk away, and squeeze the trigger once to confirm spray.

Use and care

The trigger controls flow, so squeeze lightly to start and increase pressure to suit. Keep the sprayer in its holster between uses so the hose is not kinked. Some sets include a shutoff on the T-adapter, and closing it when you travel keeps the hose from sitting under pressure.

Wipe the head with a damp cloth. If flow drops off, unscrew the head and rinse the screen. Do not use bleach or abrasive pads on the finish.

If your set does not include a T-adapter, any standard 7/8" toilet supply T-adapter will fit.
