A fold-down shower seat with a poly lumber top on a one-piece 304 stainless steel frame. The poly looks like wood but it will not rot, splinter or need oiling — nothing to maintain over the years.
The one-piece frame is what makes the difference here. It folds quietly and stays solid instead of developing that wobble folding seats get after a couple of years.
Folds to within 2 1/10″ of the wall when nobody needs it. There is a gap left at the hinge so it will not pinch fingers on the way up.
It arrives assembled with stainless screws and a positioning template for marking the holes.

Important. The seat is only as strong as what it is anchored to. Get it into studs or solid blocking — drywall anchors will not hold 400 pounds.
